Job Description

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files.
  • Program CNC machines or adjust existing programs to meet production specifications.
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Required Skills

Proficiency with CNC machinery, tooling, and programming.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Knowledge of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery.

Time management, reliability, and teamwork.

Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC machining preferred.
